Alexa, play "Hot Girl Summer" by Megan Thee Stallion.Who am I kidding? I don't own an Amazon Alexa (or whatever it's called), but I do have Apple TV thanks to Adam so I can still tell it to play that song! Somehow April came through and left in a hurry, and now we're nearly halfway through May. I don't think our current situations are how we envisioned the Roaring Twenties Part II to be, but here we are. Some people have started going back to work, stores and nail salons are reopening, and I'm not sure how I feel about it all. Like most, I've tried to create a sense of normalcy the last few months. So doing things I always do is important to me, and helps me stay grounded.

I've moved every single year since 2010. Seriously. Through different college apartments and houses at Miami University, from one street to another in Hyde Park, and THREE times since I moved to Columbus. I moved out of Cincinnati in 2018 to my first apartment when Adam, then we lived with his parents for four months after our lease was up, and then we moved into our first home this past January! It's so funny looking back and remembering we lived with his family for that brief time- it honestly went by so fast. I truly didn't think we'd find a house that quickly. Looking for houses is such a different experience than I thought it'd be by the way. You apparently don't have to give up your first unborn child or have a million dollars saved up to actually purchase a house. Save, obviously, but it's not as scary as I thought it would be. And our realtor was the sweetest woman ever. We randomly looked at a house that was wayyyyy beyond our budget just for fun, and she was hosting an open house. At first we were nervous to go in, but she contacted Adam a few days later. Then not even two months after that, she helped us find the house we live in now!
